What a great experience at this weekend’s MusicNL Awards Gala & Music Week! ❤️ 

Seeing everyone dressed up and gathered together to celebrate and support our province’s amazing music community was such an honour to be a part of. It was a real thrill to see so many familiar faces, share in the excitement, and experience the joy throughout the evening. 

Thank you, MusicNL, for putting together such a great week and for everything you do to support Newfoundland & Labrador artists and our music community. 

Being nominated for both Rising Star of the Year and Rock Artist of the Year was incredibly humbling. While we didn’t take home an award this time, it was an honour just to be recognized and to find ourselves among such an amazing group of artists in both categories. 

Congratulations to all of the winners and nominees! 🎶❤️ 

We’ll see you all again in the coming weeks and months as we continue down our path — with new music, new ideas, and hopefully some new recordings on the way!

This Saturday, August 29, The Way East will be closing out Showcase on da Rock in Bay Roberts, and we’re ready to bring a high-energy show to finish off the weekend! 🔥 

So if you’re in Bay Roberts, come on out and help us close things out in style! 🤘 

And if you can’t make it to our set, no worries — the event runs Friday through Sunday, featuring some fantastic Newfoundland & Labrador singer-songwriters and artists. 

Come out, support the local music scene, discover some great music, and show some love to the folks who put so much work into making this happen.

A huge surprise—and we're incredibly grateful—for the two nominations we received today in recognition of our debut album, In-Yun. 

We truly didn't expect this, and we'd like to sincerely thank MusicNL and everyone involved in the nomination process for recognizing the hard work we've put into this release. It means a great deal to us.
